Tamami Komatsu Cipriani is a researcher and PhD student in Design at Politecnico di Milano. Her research interests include the introduction of design culture in organizations and its societal impact. Her area of expertise lies in design for the public sector, social innovation, and the social economy. Before that, she worked as a researcher at the Politecnico di Milano, with a focus on developing Social Innovation Business Case Studies and Biographies for the EU project SIMPACT, which sought to uncover the economic underpinnings of social innovation. Her academic background includes a M.Sc. in Social Economics from the Università di Bologna and a B.A. in International Studies from the University of California San Diego. Tamami has also worked in the Italian social economy space for several years, collaborating with a growing social accelerator, Social Seed.
