The Kick-Off meeting of the Social Innovation Transfer Network (s_inn) took place on December 13th in Bochum. Dmitri Domanski, researcher at TU Dortmund University, was invited to join the event as an expert in a moderated conversation about social innovation.

The Social Innovation Transfer Network “s_inn” (Transfernetzwerk Soziale Innovation – s_inn) was initiated by the Protestant University of Applied Sciences (EvH) and the Catholic University of Applied Sciences of North Rhine-Westphalia (KatHo NRW) in the beginning of 2018. In the context of this network, two innovation labs with the main topics “diversity” and “disability” and the “Social Science Shop” were founded in Bochum.

Dmitri Domanski from TU Dortmund University took on one of four expert roles in a moderated conversation. The main topics of discussion were the emergence of the concept of social innovation and its practical application from the perspective of universities. Here, the conversation mainly focused on the development of social innovation laboratories.
