Social Innovation: Asian research team at sfs

Each country has its unique ecosystem in which social innovations emerge and develop. Asian national ecosystems for social innovation are Ken Ito’s research focus. He is a professor at Keio University. Together with his research team, he has paid Dortmund a visit.

Christoph Kaletka, Antonius Schröder and Dmitri Domanski (TUDO/sfs) discussed both the Asian social innovation study and the empirical results of a global mapping conducted in the SI-DRIVE project funded by the European Union. Ken Ito was accompanied by Mariko Makayama (SAID Business School, University of Oxford) as well as Fan Li and Tang Yao from the Chinese Leping Social Entrepreneur Foundation. Both teams found common research interests in social innovation and agreed to cooperate in the future.
