Horizon 2020 project kickoff: „I-LINC“ connecting platforms against youth unemployment

With “I-LINC (Platform for ICT learning and inclusion for youth employability and entrepreneurship)” Sozialforschungsstelle (sfs) has started its first project funded under the new European framework programme “Horizon 2020”. On January 13/14 Dr. Christoph Kaletka und Dr. Bastian Pelka joined the kickoff meeting in Brussels and presented the methodological approach for identifying existing networks and initiatives against youth unemployment.

i-linc-kock off The project aims to connect already existing initiatives tackling social issues as youth unemployment, lack of ICT competences or learning difficulties. During the three years project the partners Telefónica Europe, European Schoolnet and Telecentre Europe and TU Dortmund / sfs will identify existing platforms, networks, communities and activities such as conferences, awards or publications aiming at youth employability and entrepreneurship and connect them via a new platform. Stakeholder dialogue and implementation of end user’s feedback will be a guiding approach during all development steps.
