TU Dortmund University – sfs at Globelics conference "Innovation to reduce poverty and inequalities for inclusive and sustainable development" in Havana, Cuba

Dmitri Domanski presented the international research project „SI-DRIVE – Social Innovation: Driving Force of Social Change“. From 23rd to 25th September 2015 the annual Globelics conference brought together scholars from different disciplines to discuss current questions in innovation studies. This time development and growth in the context of globalization and accelerating pace of change took centre stage at the conference.

Dmitri Domanski, researcher at TU Dortmund University – sfs, presented the international project “SI-DRIVE – Social Innovation: Driving Force of Social Change” (7th Framework Programme of the EU) and discussed how Gabriel Tarde’s understanding of innovation can enrich the theoretical concept of social innovation and which lessons can be learned for innovation policy.


Globelics is a worldwide community of scholars working on innovation and competence building in the context of economic development. The major purpose of the organisation is to contribute to academic knowledge creation and exchange in the field of innovation and development.
