SIMPACT’s second stakeholder workshop produces new insight into the vulnerable people’s view on drivers and barriers for social innovation

On 25 June 2015 SIMPACT held its second small-scale stakeholder workshop with experts from various fields of social innovation for vulnerable people.

workshop_simpact_0715 The discussion was based on SIMPACTs first empirical findings. The outcomes describe drivers and barriers for social innovation from the stakeholders’ perspective which will be fed into the overall project research framework. It is SIMPACT's understanding of social innovation to integrate vulnerables as target group of social innovation in every step of its research and development activities. To this end, the project foresees three «Small-scale Stakeholder Experiments» (in October 2014, June 2015 and March 2016) to discuss the project's findings and preliminary conclusions with representatives from vulnerable groups and other experts and ask them for their inputs. The workshop was held on the premises of SIMPACT partner Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) and  facilitated by TUDO researchers Dr. Bastian PELKA and Eva WASCHER.
